The Kenya Embassy in Madrid wishes to ALERT all e-visa applicants of the existence of a scam website This counterfeit website is designed in such a way that it is being mistaken for our official Government e-Visa website.

The scam website which purports to issue the travel document on behalf of the Government  charges e-visa applicants between US $ 120 – US $ 130 as opposed to the US $ 51 charged by the Government of Kenya.

The scam site has the following similarities to the official eVisa portal:

  • The use of the official eVisa logo on their link at the top (Banner)
  • The Kenyan Flag is displayed prominently at the top.
  • There is a link to the official government website at the top (VISIT GOV WEBSITE)
  • They have not displayed their WEB PAGE or COMPANY NAME anywhere on the web page.
  • The disclaimer that it is not an official government website is in small print at the bottom of the page where applicants are unlikely to read.

This is therefore to encourage all e-Visa applicants to use the official Government website for their visa applications.

NOTE: The Government of Kenya will NOT be responsible for any loss of funds or extra expenditure incurred as a result of using the unofficial site.

All clients are warned not to submit any application through this scam website. The Government of Kenya will not be responsible for any loss of revenue and unnecessary extra expenditure incurred through that website.

The official eVisa application website is  which should be used in submitting all online eVisa applications.
